{Spring Break PJ Party} Tour

Hey everyone! How was your weekend? Today I am one of the first stops on the Spring Break PJ Party Tour being hosted my Deb over at Sprouting Jube Jube. When I saw the opportunity, I jumped at it because I was in NEED of some new PJ's SOOOOOOOO bad.

The only requirement for this tour was to sew up a pattern that you already owned. It didn't have to be a designated pajama pattern, however I actually did have a pattern that I immediately thought of and had been DYING to sew up for quite a while. I decided on the Parisian Night Pajamas from Winter Wear Designs.

I bought the Parisian Nights PJ's after downloading the free Parisian Night PJ pants that are available exclusively through the Winter Wear Designs Fun Facebook Group. I just knew after seeing those that I MUST have the top and shorts to go with them!!!!! So, of course I had to purchase the set.

Let me tell you, these are so incredibly comfortable. I used the Cottagely Posey and the Threaded Shreds Mamey from Art Gallery that I purchased from Mabel Madison. The Art Gallery knits are just amazingly soft and buttery, they are just PERFECT for pajamas. The colors on the Cottagely Posey are so vivid and bright that the swatches you see online do NOT give it justice. I will definitely be purchasing a bit more to make myself a top that I can wear out and show it off and not keep it contained to my own house in my PJ's ;)

The Parisian Nights Pajamas are available in sizes XS to XXL. I made the XXL for myself and they are plenty roomy. If you are trying to decide which size to make for yourself, I would definitely size down if you are between or right on the end of the sizing chart. I love that the yoke can be made out of lace for a slightly more sexy version if you desire to, or you can even use lace elastic for the waistband instead of a knit band if you choose.

The construction on these were very quick...the shorts literally took me about 15 minutes, IF that. The bindings are what took me the most time to construct, but even those were not tedious or anything. I really like the gathers along the yoke on the tank too. Nice and flattering for pajamas as well as comfortable and flowy for sleeping.

Thank you for stopping by on this tour!!! Make sure to visit the other stops and come back each day...and enter the giveaway because there is some good stuff up for grabs!!!!
