This year I was so kindly given some fabrics from Piccadilly Textiles Corp by Lindsey from Doodle No. 5 -- who is also on the schedule for today. Both fabrics went together so well...and I really feel like the pinks barely stand out. That just goes to show you that pinks are really not as obvious and loud as most people make them out to be!
I try so hard to just let my boys be themselves and not sway them towards or away from anything that they want to do. Even though we are home schooled and they for the most part are not influenced by others, they still tend to get it in their head that boys can/cannot do something JUST because they are boys...ya know?!? I just LOVE that my little guy doesn't look at the shirt and turn his nose up at it...HE picked out he fabrics and I adore him for that!!!!
It is probably no surprise that I went with a pattern from my absolute favorite designer, Love Notions. However, I can't believe that I have NEVER sewn up this pattern yet. The Moto Maxx set is absolutely AWESOME and the added details are just so fun. It's perfect for using up your beloved scraps or even for those super special custom knits. Have you sewn up the Moto Maxx set yet?!? Be sure to also check out the brother set, Vanguard Kit, that is made for use with some wovens...both are great additions to your pattern arsenal ;)
Thank you so much to Kelly for coordinating yet another year for us, and to all the sponsors. Make sure that you enter for your chance to win at the end of this post as well!!!
