{Margot Peplum} Sew Along

Well, I have something NEW under my belt...I hosted my very FIRST sew along this week and I have to say that it was a BIG success!!!! Sly Fox Fabrics asked me to host a sew along for them last year, and BOY was I hesitant to say yes because I had never really followed along with one before...never mind HOST one...eeek! Little did I know that it was going to be something that I absolutely LOVED ;)

I chose to share and sew the Margot Peplum from Love Notions Patterns because it is a quite simple pattern with a beautiful silhouette that works for so many different body shapes. Not only does it flatter those that have a smaller waist, but also gives shape to those that don't, and I love it for that reason!!!! I chose a gorgeous floral Liverpool fabric to sew first before I began the sew along, and then a beautiful color solid double brushed poly to use for instruction during. With Sly Fox Fabrics having such a wide range of fabrics that can be used for the Margot Peplum, you're sure to look great and find something that is flattering to you. If you decide to make the solid bodice and swing skirt and short sleeves, which I did, you need just over 1 yard of fabric which is totally awesome...I love when I can make a gorgeous garment with such a small amount of fabric ;)

Although I have finished the instruction for the Margot Sew Along, you will still have access to the LIVE videos I recorded as long as you need them! Head on over to Sly Fox Fabrics Sew Along Group and check it out!!! If you haven't grabbed the Margot Peplum pattern yet, you still have one more day to grab it at 20% off using code SlySewMargot. As always, please let me know if you have any questions as I would love to answer them for you!!!
