It is always a pleasure working with Tami over at Love Notions. I am a big fan of her patterns and simple, yet unique style, so when I was invited to test out her Bluezette dress, I happily obliged!

The first thing that caught my eye, was the three different skirt options on this dress. High low, layered and tulip. Another plus was definitely the three sleeve length options....that is already 6 different options. That is what I like to see in a pattern! The more options there are, the more versatile the pattern is for me, because I can easily use the pattern over and over to get a completely different look each time.

Another great feature of this dress is that you can dress it up or down. During testing, I decided to go with a more casual look by making a play dress, but I have another dress in the works that I plan for my daughter to wear for church. There are so many fabric options here too, with the ability to use a woven fabric for the overskirt! I used knit for both the top and skirt (since I chose knit for the skirt, it was not necessary for me to make an overskirt), making it a very quick sew! My daughter loves it...of course it does have My Little Ponies on it ;)

You can find it on sale now over at Love Notions (affiliate link) now....and the women's version is coming May 1-7th...you won't want to miss this!!!!
